What is DPI?
DPI is a printing term that means dots per inch. The more dots per inch, the sharper the image. For example, 72 DPI is standard for images used on the internet. 300 DPI is the minimum requirement for images that will be professionally printed. Generally, digital cameras with a high mega pixels count will produce a higher quality image. Studio shots and professional photography shots are most likely a higher DPI.

How do I know if my photo is OK to reproduce?
If you're not sure the image quality will be sufficient to produce your personalized product, feel free to send it to us and we can check the image size for you.

Remember, if your photo is 3x5 and the print area on your product of choice is 4.25, your photo will not reproduce crisp and clean. You cannot enlarge a small digital photo - it will distort the quality. However, if your digital photo is larger than the print area, we can reduce it to size as it will not compromise the sharpness of the photo.

How can I place an order?
Orders can be placed using our SSL secure shopping cart on line, via phone, fax or mail. You can also e-mail us your order and photos, however, do not include your charge card information as e-mail is not secure.

What are my options to personalize a product?
Items are shown with a suggested layout and design, however, there are other layouts and designs available, Be sure to click on the options button to preview the different graphics available.

You have the following personalization options when placing your order:

  • select from our stock images or send us your photo
  • select from our stock text or personalize your own text
Can I personalize any item?
Yes, all items can be personalized unless noted.

Do I have to personalize an item with text?
No, it.s not required to have text on the item, however, the layout of the design will not change. Just write NO TEXT where it asks for your text.

Where will my custom text appear on the item?
It is difficult to describe exactly where the text may fall versus the layout that is shown. The number of characters and length of your text will vary versus our layout. If you have specific requirements, include a note in the comments section of your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request. If we anticipate a problem, we will contact you prior to processing your order.

Do you offer customized designs or layouts, using my images?
Yes, we can create a layout or design with your images, however, there is a fee for this service. Be sure to check our Custom Layouts (LINK) section for requirements.

How do I send you my photo or letter?
If you have a digital photo or if you scanned a letter or memento into a digital file, you can upload the file to us when placing your order. Be sure to check our Specification Requirements before uploading the image. When you place your order you will be given the option to upload the file or mail the photo to us.

Be sure to include your order number and contact information. If possible, include a copy of your order. If you are sending more than one photo you must identify which photo should be used for each product. Do not write on the back of your photo as it may damage the photo. Please read our Policies before sending us a photo. Your mailed photos and/or mementos are returned to you via us Postal Service, unscathed

How can I pay for my order?
We accept MasterCard or Visa. Checks or Money Orders may be mailed to us, however, your order will not be processed until your check clears. There is a $30 charge for returned checks. We do not ship COD.

What is the turn around time, once I place my order?
Please allow 2-3 weeks for receipt of your order. Shipping times vary by location and method of shipment selected. If you require a quick turn around, make a note in the comments section and we will do our best to accommodate you. We recommend you call us before placing your order so we can advise availability and discuss options to rush the item. To expedite your order, you can also select a faster shipping method when checking out. Please note, during the holiday season, orders may take additional time to produce. Please inquire to ensure availability in time for the holidays.

All orders are shipped out of our Howell, NJ location.

What if I made a mistake on my order?
Prior to placing your order, please double-check your spelling, names and dates. We understand that mistakes happen, but it is your responsibility to check for accuracy. If you do require a change on an item due to an error you made, we will extend you a courtesy 20% discount on the same item. Of course if we made the error, we will replace it at no charge.

What is your policy on returns or product guarantee?
Please read our Policies for return authorizations and company guarantee.

Do you ship internationally?
Sorry, at the moment we do not ship outside the United States. See our Policy section for shipping information.

What is the process used to create the product?
We produce most of our products using a process called dye sublimation printing. Simply put, we print a transfer with your photo and text and heat press it onto your substrate of choice. During the heat process, the inks from the transfer actually dye into the substrate, resulting in a fade resistant, weather worthy printed product.

Are the tiles safe for outdoor applications?
We have a variety of tile styles and each are noted for their durablity and suggested applications. Many of our tiles are suitable for the outdoor elements and are noted in both Elegies and our Home and Garden brands.

Will the outdoor tiles fade?
After a time, even car paint fades if left in direct sunlight on a consistent basis. Same with our beautiful tiles. If left in direct sunlight for most of the day, every day, you will over time see fading occur. However, when protected by some or all shade, our outdoor tiles will remain brilliant in color.

Do you offer discount pricing for large quantities?
Yes, on most items we may be able to offer you a discount for larger quantities. Call and speak to a representative prior to placing your order.
